Continuous Professional Education (CPE)

The CPE program aims to update professional and technical information and skills in topics of relevance to the accounting and auditing profession with the overarching goal of increasing or at least maintaining professional and technical competence.

Target Audience

A- Full members, licensed professionals, and those licensed to perform Zakat and Tax services.
B- SOCPA's full members who are not licensed to practice the profession.
C- Anyone who passed the fellowship exam but does not hold a SOCPA membership.
D. Every professional working in an accounting firm.

Practitioner Full Members, or those licensed for Zakat and Tax Services: 7 hours (7 points).
Non-practitioner Full Members, holders of fellowship, or technical employees: 4 hours (4 points)
 

Yes, it is considered as a form of informal learning.
 

For licensed Full Members: 65 points annually.
For non-licensed Full members, and for those who have passed SOCPA's fellowship exam but do not hold a SOCPA membership, and any technical employee that works in an accounting firm: 50 points annually.
