Non-practitioner Full Member

Non-practitioner Full Member refers to anyone who has obtained SOCPA's fellowship certificate, and has applied for and obtained a SOCPA membership as a Non-practitioner Full Member.

Members' Obligations


A. Commitment to the rules, conduct and etiquette of the profession.
B. Completing all of the Continuous Professional Education Program (CPE) requirements.
C. Compliance with the all the obligations specified in the laws and regulations relating to the accounting and auditing profession.
D. Payment of membership subscription fee.

Membership Subscriptions


1,000 SAR per year.
Subscription start date for Full Members starts on the first day of the financial year of SOCPA, except for first time registrations or amendments of membership where subscription period equals the remainder of days in the financial year.

Suspension and Cancellation of Membership


If a member does not comply with CPE requirements, his/her membership shall be suspended and they shall be warned that if the requirements are not met, their membership will be cancelled within a year of being suspended. Membership may be reinstated if the conditions causing the cancellation of membership are resolved and the requirements ofIf a member does not comply with CPE requirements, his/her membership shall be suspended and they shall be warned that if the requirements are not met, their membership will be cancelled within a year of being suspended. Membership may be reinstated if the conditions causing the cancellation of membership are resolved and the requirements of the Professional Membership set out in Section (2) of the membership regulations are met.

If a Full Member does not pay the membership subscription fees:
Their membership will be suspended after 3 months of the payment due date, and they will receive a warning of membership cancellation if the fees are not paid fully within 3 months after suspension.
Cancellation of membership for members who have been suspended for three months and hae not paid the full subscription fees.
Membership may be reinstated if the conditions causing the cancellation of membership are resolved and the requirements of the Full Membership set out in Section (2) of the membership regulations are met.
