SOCPA participated in "Career Forum, 2014" organized by the University of Dammam and held at Dhahran International Exhibitions Co for a period of 4 days , under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province, in the presence of businessmen and managers of companies and government agencies. During the forum, a number of career opportunities appropriate to the needs of marketplace were provided in all disciplines. Workshops, seminars and lectures by the most prominent specialists in human resources and employment, were also provided. As SOCPA is too eager to extend it service to the graduates of accounting departments in Saudi universities, it participated in this forum to provide them with career opportunities, and consequently posted a page at its website for graduates to record their data and then SOCPA shall provide companies and accounting firms with a list of graduates to facilitate their employment. SOCPA exhibition at the Forum included the introduction of the training programs provided by the SOCPA. These courses include a number of specialized topics related to the accounting and auditing profession, and contribute in enhancing the professional capabilities of the accounting graduates and therefore qualifying them for the marketplace. In order to provide necessary means that enable new graduates to apply for training courses, SOCPA offered them a discount of up to 50%  with respect to SOCPA Fellowship training courses.
