SOCPA Launches the “Electronic Data Upload” Service

SOCAP has launched the “Electronic Data Upload” Service which allows those licensed to provide Tax and zakat services to electronically supply SOCPA with the annually required data and information, making the process easier and more accurate than before.
The new service is part of SOCPA's efforts toward digitizing its services to achieve the highest levels of quality performance and improve work. It also comes as part of the quality control program for the performance of those licensed to provide zakat and tax services in an effort to automate review procedures and facilitate the process of providing data and information to ensure compliance with professional standards, professional ethics, licensing rules, and regulations.
This was expressed by Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Maghamis, CEO of SOCPA, stressing the importance of SOPA's role in promoting the accounting and auditing profession, and achieving the highest quality standards, adding that this platform is a step to empower Zakat and tax service providers, facilitate data submission procedures, and enhance and monitor the quality of professional performance.
It is worth mentioning that the data entry process takes place in three stages, including creating or granting the owner or partner access to employees, collecting information, and then starting the entry process.
