SOCPA has published a guidebook Introducing and promoting accounting to high school students and graduates. The guidebook gives an overview of the various accounting majors and their importance to the economy. It also explains the multiple branches of accounting, and the ways that these branches serve society.
The guidebook also included answers to the most frequently asked questions by students about taking up accounting as their major in university. It also provided a brief introduction of SOCPA, and its role in the advancement and development of the profession. The guide also outlined the advantages of" Student membership " offered by SOCPA to students at Business Administration colleges. It explains the perks of the membership such as various discounts on fees of training courses and access to seminars, conferences and professional meetings organized by the SOCPA. in addition, it included a detailed list of Saudi universities that offer bachelor’s degrees in accounting, classified based on the geographical location of each university.
