SOCPA Seeks the Opinions of Those Interested in the Draft Executive Regulations of the Profession Law

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants has called on those interested from the general public to submit their opinions and suggestions regarding the draft executive regulations for the law of the accounting and auditing profession, with 20 May 2021 as the deadline for submissions.
SOCPA stated that the draft executive regulations aim to explain the basic codes contained in the law of the accounting and auditing profession issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 59) dated 7/27/1442 AH.

The draft also clarified the conditions for accreditation with a university degree or any higher qualification in a specialty related to the profession to obtain a license and practice the profession, in addition to the controls for part-time practice and determining the years of his practice of the profession, and the requirement to employ a percentage of Saudi technicians out of the total technical personnel working in licensed Chartered accountant firms or the professional company through which the professional work is carried out.
